Hi, buddies! Boy, I’m having a tough time getting started this morning. Autumn has decided to stay this time, and we have spent the morning snuggled up watching Sesame Street. Finally, I decided it was time to get up, get a cup of coffee, and get going.
This weekend we celebrated my 25th birthday early. My birthday is tomorrow. Unlike most people, I don’t dread my birthday. 😉
We started on Saturday by going to a pumpkin patch. At this particular one (Eckert’s, Belleville) you take a hayride back to the patch. We decided it was too windy for the baby so unfortunately we didn’t get to pick any pumpkins. We still had a blast! There was an entire area dedicated to kids, with rides and a petting zoo.
After the pumpkin patch my husband was amazed that I had never been to Target. So, we went and walked through the whole store. I cannot wait to go back! We finished our trip off with an early dinner at Chick-fil-A. Yum!
Yesterday we had birthday cake with my parents, and birthday dinner with my in-laws. 🙂
All in all, I had a fantastic weekend! How was yours?!
Hey friends! Sorry for the gap in posts, I won’t sit here and make a lot of excuses, Life. That’s enough right? The great thing about this community is that you are all so supportive, which is not what I was expecting! I honestly thought that the blogging world would be a “dog-eat-dog” place. It is so pleasantly surprising to find out how wrong I was about that!
This morning I want to talk about music. More specifically, music that I feel is good for autumn. Once October hits, it’s basically the holiday season, which means for me at least, that time rushes by. All the stress (good and bad) of preparing for the season can really speed the days. So, today, I thought I’d share a music playlist that may help slow things down and give us a chance to enjoy the moment we’re in.
Let me know if you like any of these songs, and also please leave me some suggestions of other songs to listen to! 🙂

One of my favorite things about fall is the beautiful colors! Today, I’m sharing four nail colors that I’m loving this season. 🙂 I love having a fresh manicure, it’s one of the best ways to make me feel special. However, having two little ones to chase around, I have a tough time finding time to paint my nails. Anyone else know my struggle?!
Anchor Down – Essie

Out of these four colors, I’d definitely have to say that Anchor Down is my favorite! I love the blue with grey undertones. What are some of your favorite colors this fall?
